UNO Educação Brand Identity

UNO is a one-stop-shop educational project that features integrated and technological solutions. Its belief relies on the importance of getting hands on and making things in order to meet today’s educational needs. UNO promotes a structural change within the schools, combining the discussions around education in the XXI century with the most advanced technology, content, bilingual education, evaluation and faculty continuous learning.

Challenge

Megalo was invited to rebrand UNO,  challenged to build a visual universe that explores the flexibility and structure of the project’s cornerstones in a way that’s attractive to the schools, educators, students and families in different moments in their academic life.

Solution

The brand’s unique proposition is to let students roll up their sleeves and get hands on in order to promote creativity, so we created an atmosphere that highlights the fun and the technology within this project. The entire identity is based on the use of 3D illustrations that can translate that idea by putting the hands in action in the spotlight.

We reinvented the way that identity is showcased by creating a series of key visuals that determine how the colors, typos and visual elements interact with each other. Furthermore, we rolled out an extensive visual repertoire in order to create multiple vector icons, box styles, lines, hashtags, bullet-points and markers that simulate highlighters. The photographs show the students as the main stars who interact with the universe that surrounds them.

A library of 3D icons was created to represent UNO’s cornerstones: maker culture, socioemotional development, environments to enable experimentation, media labs, programming logic, education and technology, as well as bilingual education.
